Y6 Responsibilities
Year 6 House Captains and Vice captains
Our House Captains and Vice Captains are Year 6 students who are responsible for leading the school houses over the course of the year. Each of the children have committed to embodying the values and attributes of Anfield. They are a visible presence around the school to support all children in feeling confident and safe at play times, and demonstrating excellence in their attitude to learning in the classroom. You can spot our Year 6 Captains and Vice Captains as they wear hats specific to the colour of the House that they represent.
Play Leaders
Our Year 6 students take turns to take responsibility for ensuring a fun, active, stimulating and safe place for younger students to play at break or lunchtimes. They lead specific activities on the playground e.g. skipping games, team games and support younger students who may be finding the playground overwhelming at times. The students receive training in the early stages of Year 6, which enables them to share their knowledge and experience of life at Anfield School with the younger students. You can spot our play leaders as they wear a purple cap so that they are easily identified by those they are playing and working with.
