Trips and Visits
Excellence in education comes not just from within the classroom, but from what children experience outside the classroom. Today’s students are visual learners, and a field trip lets them touch, feel and listen to what they’re learning about, which helps them build on classroom instruction, gain a better understanding of topics, build cultural understanding and tolerance, and expose them to worlds outside their own. The range of trips that we provide for the students at Anfield St. Bosco Koon Ying School achieve this. Field trips are fully integrated into the curriculum throughout the school so that children have the opportunity to participate. They enable students to engage with content in a variety of ways and students take part in trips each term within Hong Kong. Throughout the year, all students have the opportunity to attend trips that may link directly to the themes they are learning in class or a theatre trip. Where possible our St. Bosco Koon Ying students will connect with students from Anfield School in order to continue to build the connections with our partner schools and widen their social circle.
