Life Skills
At Anfield St. Bosco Koon Ying School, our Life Skills programme focuses on everyday and age appropriate skills for young people with additional needs, these include:
- Personal/Social Skills
- Hygiene
- Independent Life Skills
- Community Based Learning Skills
- Functional Academics
These skills are essential for our students to learn as they provide the basis for, and facilitate the transition from, primary school to secondary school and from school-life to life in the real world.
Through these vital life skills we endeavour to support our students in developing their communication skills, functional skills, social participation and emotional well-being. Through increased confidence in these areas, we will be enabling our students to access increased opportunities for inclusion at a later stage with increasing levels of independence.
