Music Teacher: Early Years and Primary 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, committed and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our team from August 2026, who will endorse and promote our values, have high expectations and are passionate about teaching. All teachers must be fully qualified and have QTS to be considered.

GENERAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach a range of classes throughout kindergarten and primary, and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs within the scope of the UK curriculum
• Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom
• Contribute to constructive team-building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and governors
• Be an enthusiastic and energetic music teacher
• Have a coherent, well developed philosophy of children’s learning in music and of classroom organisation and management within a kindergarten & primary environment
• Offer leadership by example and encouragement to young children in their care through effective display, by the provision of stimulating and thoughtful lesson planning, by sensitive rapport with the children and through effective classroom organisation, management and record keeping
• Prepare students for performances to build confidence and showcase learning through music
