Governance
The Anfield School Board is composed of individuals who have the skills and connections necessary to support the ongoing development of our four campuses. Each Board member’s statutory duty is to act in the best interests of our schools, they are not appointed to promote a particular agenda. Board members do not involve themselves directly in the management of any of our schools, except when non-educational expertise is required, for example, advising on legal or estate planning issues. The ongoing success of the school is in large part down to the ability of the Board to work cohesively and successfully with the Head of School on each campus and the School Supervisor.
The Board meets regularly throughout the year; normally at least once per term. Its meetings are attended by the Head of School of each site and on occasion, by other members of the teaching staff.
