ABOUT St. Bosco Koon Ying School

ABOUT US

Anfield St. Bosco Koon Ying School operates in partnership with Anfield School. Anfield was founded in 1999 by like-minded professionals who sought to provide a high quality, British style, international education which would be undertaken in a small school setting. It has a proven track record of, and a strong reputation for, providing excellent SEND international education in Hong Kong for children aged between two and twelve.

OUR MISSION & VISION

Educating Hearts and Minds

A THEMATIC APPROACH

At St. Bosco Koon Ying School, we provide a modified curriculum based on the English National Curriculum, which is beneficial for our learners as they are not yet fully engaged in subject specific learning. The curriculum looks distinctly different to that followed by mainstream students as our focus is more on acquisition of core skills, and progress is not linear but appears varied.

Summary

Although our academic standards remain high, at Anfield, we recognise the importance of a balanced learning environment, where children can extend their knowledge and global citizenship through our extended learning opportunities. These help prepare our children to become lifelong learners.

After School Clubs

At Anfield, we offer a large variety of extra curricular activities including Mindfulness and Movement, Let’s Write, Lights, Camera, Action!, Make it Count, Marvellous Mandarin, Sound it Out, Rocketing Readers, Music Makers and many more. After School Clubs are a fantastic opportunity for the children to develop and extend their learning opportunities in an engaging environment.

Festivals & Celebrations

As an International Kindergarten, we love to celebrate a variety of special cultural events with our school families. We organise dress up events and on campus celebrations. The children celebrate Diwali, Christmas, Chinese New Year and Easter.

Special Events

We love to celebrate special events here at Anfield. We recognise the importance of a well-balanced approach to teaching and learning and enjoy showcasing these through our special events. These include Sports Day, World Book Day and our very own Curriculum Festival.
