At Anfield School, we prioritise outdoor learning experiences that enrich our students’ education and personal growth. For our Year 1 to Year 3 students, we offer a one-day outdoor learning experience through an external provider. This engaging program allows young learners to explore nature while developing essential skills. Benefits of this experience include:
For our Year 4 to Year 6 students, we provide residential camps that further promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem. These camps present opportunities to face challenges and create lasting memories, while also enhancing communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Organised by external outdoor learning providers and supported by our staff, these residential experiences are designed to maximise personal growth.
The residential camps that we offer at Anfield School for our students in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 provide opportunities for them to develop their independence, enhance their confidence and self esteem, face challenges and make lifelong memories. In addition, the students will be able to practise their communication, teamwork and leadership skills. The residential camp experiences are arranged by third-party outdoor learning providers and supported by our staff team.
Students have the opportunity to discover the transformative power of outdoor learning at Anfield, by engaging in hands-on forest adventures that foster teamwork, resilience, and confidence. Our outdoor programs provide exciting new challenges, helping students develop essential skills such as problem-solving, leadership, and adaptability. By venturing into nature, students learn to overcome fears, build lasting friendships, and gain a deeper appreciation for the environment, all while having fun and experiencing personal growth in a supportive setting.
