SEN Teaching Assistant: Anfield School, Tai Wai campus

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team from August 2026, who will endorse and promote our values, have high expectations and are passionate about supporting pupils with SEN within their classroom setting.

GENERAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting either individuals or small groups of pupils within our St. Bosco Centre class to meet their varying learning and social needs
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other teaching assistants in the class to define appropriate activities for the pupils in relation to the curriculum
• Make use of adapted conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils
• Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom
• Be an enthusiastic and energetic teaching assistant
• Have a coherent, well developed philosophy of children’s learning and of classroom organisation and support
• Supporting learning outside the classroom in activities such as community visits, school outings, sporting events or extra-curricular activities
